A skeleton of a mother, and her baby, who both died during her pregnancy.




It is the skeleton of a 35-year-old woman and her 8-month-old child from Æbelholt Abbey, Denmark.

The mother had between 17 to 24 oxalic acid kidney stones in the area of the fetus head.

This is believed to have caused the strange position of the child and thus the death of the mother – who most likely was a patient at the monastery’s hospital. I was there back in 2010, there are a lot of skeletons like this.

He was shipped overseas to the European Theatre and worked with a supply division based out of the city of Naples with an office set up in a residential villa.
