It is omnipresent. But as long as it remains on theother side of our skins, we are safe. When our defenses are breached either by the scratch of a sharp rose thorn or a blister on the foot, tetanus gains access to the body..Tetanus infuses our bodies with tetanospasm toxin, which acts on the central nervous system and works by irreversibly blocking the release of neurotransmitters that work on the muscles, thus interfering with the natural rhythm of nerve firing. As a result of this blockage, the nerves fire continuously, leading to persistent spasming of the muscles. The stronger muscles of the body have a greater effect and dominate, forming an agonizing posture k

A magnificent Soviet soldier, dressed in skirts on the battlefield, died after being captured and subjected to humiliation

A magnificent Soviet soldier, dressed in skirts on the battlefield, died after being captured and subjected to humiliation In the early days of World War II , Germany's policy towards the Soviet Union was to attack the Soviet Union at a distance, and because the Soviet authorities believed that due to the strength of the Soviet armament, Germany would never take the initiative to attack the Soviet Union. Therefore, at the beginning of the war, the Soviet Union did not actively help other countries resist German aggression. The actual result was that the German Lightning Forces quickly moved into the Soviet Union. Of course, the old men were caught off guard, and the battle was retreating steadily, and the army suffered heavy casualties. The most indispensable thing for a fighting nation is people who can fight. When a man is dead, a woman can also go to the battlefield.  Those women who were only waiting for the return of their husbands and sons took up their weapons unwillingly. S

Did you know that ? In the Middle Ages , in a French city, women would put in the morning a slight p.i.oson in the breakfast of their husbands, and then when they returned home, late at night, they were given the antidote, so this p.i.oson was not too harmful to human beings. And In case men didn’t come home because they were elsewhere and so the antidote was delayed, men got headaches, nausea, shortness of breath, depression, pain, vomiting. The more the man was away from home, the sicker he was, and then when he returned home, unknowingly, his wife would give him the antidote and he would get better in few minutes. With this horrible trick, men were scammed, because they imagined that being away from home would cause them pain and depression, so they became attached to their homes and wives. In November 1906, around 170 British soldiers launched what that country’s parliament called a “punitive expedition” against the town for carrying out annual raids along British trade routes in Borno state In defence, during an 11-day siege, Chibok townsmen shot poisoned arrows at the soldiers from hideouts in the hills. Some traditions claim that the group must have sex with the aunt before sleeping with the bride. Another tradition asserts that it was the responsibility of the aunt to prove the potency of the groom by watching or listening to the couple  while they're having intercourse How much influence should aunties have on their nieces? A Dutch woman accused of having a  romantic relationship with a German have her head shaved soldier is held by members of the Dutch Resistance and is punished by having her head shaved following the liberation of the province of Overijssel. April, 1945.  She sleeps with a German soldier to avoid starvation . Probably countless examples. In Norway (not very harshly occupied, but still), about 10 000 "war children" were born as a result of relationships between German soldiers and Norwegian women. It is estimated that 10% of Norwegian women between the ages of 18 and 35 were engaged in these relationships. Several thousand women married Germans and were forcibly deported as a result. In danish historiography, it is absurdly put to 50.000 women being "tysker piger" or "german girls." (Anette Warring) While this might not sound as a high number it would mean that 1 out of 7,5 of women between 16-29 would fall in this category - in a country that was occupied

Selknam natives en route to Europe for being exhibited as animals in Human Zoos , 1899 A family of Indians being taken to Europe as the new inhabitants of the zoo With the permission of the Chilean government in 1889, eleven Selk’nam natives including an 8-year-old were taken to Europe to be exhibited in Human Zoos. The Patagonian Indians were a rarity. Between 1878 and 1900, three groups of natives belonging to indigenous groups of Tehuelche, Selknam, and Kawésqar were shipped to Europe to be exposed in Human Zoos. They were photographed, measured, weighed, and were expected to perform every day. Sometimes 6 to 8 times a day. The Selknams did not receive the best care. Therefore, many of them did not make it back. Some did not even make it to Europe. But why would civilized people do such a thing as showing other people in zoos? From a sociological point of view, it’s understandable: a much more technologically advanced civilization lacking the modern-day sensibilities and political
