On January 31st, 2022, members of the Cecil County Street Level Crimes Unit executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Red Hill Road Elkton. The search and seizure warrant was the result of a two month investigation into illegal drug activity at the residence. The target of the investigation, identified as Ronnie Ray Lynch Sr., was home when investigators entered the residence. During a search of the residence, investigators located 268 bags of suspected heroin/fentanyl. The gross weight of these bags was 90 grams. Investigators also located 8 firearms throughout the residence. The firearms consisted of 4 rifles, 3 shotguns, and (1) .25 caliber handgun. Also, $1,093 in US currency was found during the search. All items were seized as evidence.
