Lottie Rae, 32, took up the unusual role to make some extra money in 2017, and charges £50 an hour - estimating she's made a few thousand pounds over the years. Yvette Marie Stevens better known as Chaka Khan, was born on March 23, 1953 in Chicago, IL. In the late 1960s, Khan attended several civil rights rallies and joined the Black Panther Party after befriending fellow member Fred Hampton. Though many believe she was given the name Chaka while in the Panthers, she has made it clear that her name, Chaka Adunne Aduffe Hodarhi Karifi was given to her at the age of 13. She married fellow musician, Hassan Khan, in 1970. Early on, she caught the attention of music icon Stevie Wonder, who penned her first smash hit with Rufus, “Tell Me Something Good.” The single from the group’s 1974 platinum-selling album, Rags to Rufus, earned Chaka her first Grammy Award. With Chaka as the group’s dynamic center, Rufus became one of the most popular acts around selling out shows throughout the country and dominating the airwaves with hit after hit with songs such as “You Got the Love,” which Chaka co-wrote, “Once You Get Started,” “Sweet Thing,” “Everlasting L...

Following the Russian October Revolution in November 1917, the Socialist Bolsheviks had taken control of the country and immediately sought peace terms with the Central Powers, to end the war that the old Russian tsarist regime had entered. . The soldier who went on a one man rampage, 1968 Roy P Benavidez was born in Texas in 1935. His father was Mexican and his mother was Yaqui native Mexican. They both died of tuberculosis when Benavidez was young. He was bullied for his Mexican accent and heritage in school and worked hard labour to support his family, but dreamed of joining the US Army. At the age of 15, he dropped out of school to work on a farm. However, as soon as he was ready, Roy enlisted in the US armed forces. He also got married around this time and had 3 children. In 1965, Roy qualified for the special forces and was deployed to Vietnam. Roy was on a secret surveillance mission dressed as a Vietcong fighter when he stepped on a landmine. He was sent back to America and in hospital, he was told that he would never walk again.
