He was a small man, only 5-foot-5, but he cast a shadow that stretched across the Arabian Arabian peninsula.  Dressed in the thobe and ghoutra of an Arab sheikh, he banded together the Arab tribes and led his Bedouin raiders across the desert that had never been crossed, the Nafud, to assault the landward side of Aqaba, a World War I Turkish stronghold. And, after that stunning achievement, with the aid of the British army, he took his ragtag Bedouin force and launched a guerilla campaign that cost the Turks precious manpower and equipment.  His name was Thomas Edward Lawrence, better known now as “Lawrence of Arabia.” But was his death in May 1935 a tragic motorcycle accident or a carefully planned political assassination? It is thought the large dolls - Nina and Lucy Ann - had their hollowed out papier-mache heads stuffed with quinine or morphine for wounded and malaria-stricken Confederate troops. The Union blockade lasted from 1861 until 1865 and was intended to thwart the delivery of weapons, soldiers and supplies such as medicine to the South.... The people who posted the video online said he beat her to death, but that isn’t shown in the video. The last seconds of the video shows the man dragging the very weak woman away. I have a feeling its a faked propaganda shot. Edit: Normally with authentic images of this sort, you find a lot of links on a reverse image search that link to historical and academic websites. The many different websites that turn up with this image are white supremacy, blog posts and conspiracy websites. This isn't exactly inspiring my confidence. I know the Japanese committed insane amounts of atrocities in China (and elsewhere), however first hand images are very rare. They weren't fools. Most of the authentic images you find were taken by survivors after the soldiers moved on. A quick googling shows quite a lot of "horrific" images that are clearly fakes.
