At first glance it looked like the woman was stretched out with her head on her partner’s lap as they took in the view of the famous Christ the King statue on the other side of Lisbon’s River Tagus in Portugal.

But the unmistakeable sight of her head bobbing up and down left passers-by in no doubt as to what was going on.

The woman - fully dressed in trousers and a T-shirt - carried on as the person filming the extraordinary scene came to within a few feet

Another couple sat nearby with their backs to the couple appeared to be unaware of what was going on.

In June an extraordinary video of a couple having sex next to a six-year-old child in a park in northern Portugal went viral.

Stunned onlookers filmed the shocking scenes at the river beach of Taboao near the town of Paredes de Coura in the Porto region.

The oversized brunette recorded having sex, who protected her modesty with a sarong, could be seen looking at the men filming her and smiling during the amazing 11-minute footage.

Police said after the video went public that they would investigate.

Reports at the time said authorities had removed the child from her mum’s care and made three people suspects after launching a criminal probe.

A couple caused outrage in the US recently after being filmed performing oral sex on a Ferris Wheel at the San Diego County Fair.

The exhibitionist couple’s mid-air dalliance was shared online more than 100,000 times
