After looking at the photographs attached to this post, you might be getting lots of Negative or Positive thoughts in mind, but after knowing the reality of this photograph you might get tears in your eyes.

In fact, this is a painting sold to more than 30.000.000 euros to someone who knows all the value. This is a poor old man of the time of Louis 14 who has been recognized guilty of stealing a loaf of bread and sentenced to the death penalty, but a tragic death: Starve To Death!

His daughter who knew his sentence asked for permission to go to visit him; the guards at each visit carefully searched the young lady as well as the 6-Month-old baby she was carrying, then let her enter, once a day.

At the end of the fourth month, having found that the convicted is not dead and had no weight, the authorities decided to make him monitor thoroughly.

The observation was done: The daughter as the only guest of her father to each of her daily visits was feeding her father the breastmilk intended for her infant.

Informed, the judges instead of getting angry and condemning them were taken by the compassion this woman and the love she had shown to her father … She had vowed to preserve life in suffering and protect it at all costs.

The Judges ordered the relax and release of the father and his daughter… all this happened to the ears of the great and famous painter who would later paint this painting to capture the history.

Legend has it that the man in question was jailed in the first place, having caught while trying to steal bread to feed his starving family.
