Women strip naked and shock passers-by in eye-catching protest against objectification

A GROUP of women were filmed as they stripped naked outside a government building and casually strolled around in front of confused onlookers.

The bizarre nude show was part of a protest against the policing of naked female bodies.

The women – from the Urbanudismo campaign – strolled completely naked around Plaza de Los Dos Congresos, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

They can be seen stripping in the middle of a public path while pedestrians stare in disbelief in the clip, filmed last Wednesday (September 21)

One woman sits at a bus stop, leaving a fellow member of the public feeling visibly awkward.

Urbanudismo spokeswoman Paula Brindisi told Argentine newspaper Larazon: "We want to promote the acceptance of being naked as natural and not as something perverse or sexual."

Three other women also bared all in the protest – one is seen listening to music on a bench while two others take a relaxed stroll down the road.

The protest lasted several minutes until police were called.

One unnamed policeman told the newspaper: “We came up here because there are many people who complained and felt uncomfortable with this situation.”

The Urbanudismo movement also aims to promote breastfeeding in public, the freedom of expression and says public nudity “will please many, not harm or offend them.”

It comes as hundreds of topless women flashed their flesh on a British beach as part of the “Free the Nipple” campaign.

And one artist staged a naked protest to send a scathing message to migrant sex attackers in Cologne.
