In the center of wall blocks that had been molded and laid down was a 12- year- old boy. He was placed behind walls alive, used as the foundation for a church building, and yet how he survives is still a mystery. Passersby used to complain about hearing a strange noise behind the wall until one man had the courage to break the wall down and see for himself. A 12- year- old South African boy allegedly seen in some picture messages making the rounds on social media is said to be buried alive inside a church wall. According to legend, the boy mysteriously survived because his burial was used as the foundation for the church building.

The Nigerian boy known as Aduragbemi Saka was actually imprisoned in a narrow opening between a house and a wall in December 2016. The 12- year- old boy entered a cafe by himself and began to play in a 12- inch opening between a breeze block wall and a student residence. The boy sobbed for himself because he had no family nearby and had been confined inside for three days. The boy was eventually heard by neighbors who were able to locate him after passersby chose to ignore his sounds. As a result, a policeman broke through the wall and saved the boy, who was covered in dust. The boy was cleaned up by locals, as seen in the photos, and given to his grandmother.
